Mr. Kristy is the principal trial attorney at The Kristy Law Firm. He founded the firm in 2003.
Mr. Kristy is a graduate of UCLA and the Whittier College School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Whittier Law Review. Mr. Kristy was admitted to the bar in 2000. Prior to becoming an attorney, he concluded a 20-year career in corporate finance. As an attorney, Mr. Kristy has devoted his practice to representing plaintiffs – consumers and individuals – in lawsuits against insurers and other businesses. He has successfully represented over 100 clients.
Since 2005, Mr. Kristy has served on the Board of Governors of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the nation's largest local association of plaintiffs' attorneys. Since 2008, he has also served as the Chairman of CAALA's Education Committee, which produces continuing-legal-education programs for lawyers. Mr. Kristy also speaks at seminars for lawyers, including CAALA's annual Las Vegas Convention. In 2008, Mr. Kristy spoke at the Annual Convention of the State Bar of California.
